ABOUT ME

Jeffrey's passion for writing first started during his undergraduate years at Colgate University.  While taking a course on classical authors he came upon a German writer, artist, and politician named Johann Wolfgang Van Goethe who wrote the book The Sorrow of Young Werther.  Another source of inspiration for Jeffrey is Franz Kafta's Metamorphosis.  Both authors' unique ways of telling stories where outside the norm.  Their message to  the reader was both profound and thought provoking, unlike many of the generic story telling seen today.  This style of writing stimulated a dormant creative talent within Jeffrey to tell stories not just for entertainment purposes but for a deeper cognitive experience.

During his junior and senior years Jeffrey wrote his first story on legal pads in-between studying for his declared major of Molecular Biology.  After graduation and then continuing his education in the sciences at Long Island University Graduate School, The Project was born.  In between writing this first novel Jeffrey wrote several short stories related to his field of study. Through out the years several other novels were written before Jeffrey decided to strengthen his writing abilities by taking a few classes in writing.  It was only after these courses that he wrote the novels of the Masters of Deceit series.

To date, Jeffrey has written six independently published novels.

Imagination is key for any writer but to be successful one must always struggle with reality and perception. Reality is perception

. . . perception is subjective.

"Books aren't written - they're rewritten. Including your own. It is one of the hardest things to accept, especially after the seventh rewrite hasn't quite done it."
